You never know what the treatment will bring, so you sort of hold your breath. I feel like we can let it out and know that the rest of this month, barring something popping up, will be manageable. As long as someone keeps an arm on her.

Chemo - Day two
The good news is the side effects are pretty minimal. She feels a little loopier and a bit more unsteady ("I wouldn't want to walk across the street by myself"), but otherwise ok. Walked the farmer's market in the U District and had a nice lunch with friends outside. Spending the afternoon in the garden, reading and enjoying the fragrances.
